Those whose goal in this job is honesty only do well with others who follow the same goal. Being honest with your customers keeps them safe, saves them money, and saves them time. I like the fellow back shop gang I work with bc we like being honest over being profitable. Cars are expensive.

We have to buy all our own tools if we want anything beyond the bare minimum. We have to insure our own tools in case of theft. We have to ask for classes and tests to certify us for specific skills. All our pay is based on how much work we do, and not all of that work is reflected in that 'Labor'
