Remember when people used to speak of RPG Maker derisively? It's responsible for so many foundational works now. Without it, no Yume Nikki. No Lisa. No To The Moon or Oneshot. And now we're getting stuff like Fear & Hunger, Omori, Look Outside. All because one Russian pirate with a Spanish handle.

Gamemaker sync groups are the bane of my existence, they are easily the worst feature I’ve used so far. I shouldn’t have to download fmod and tack +60mb to my game because they couldn’t get it working right in engine
