Checking that I’m building the cavity of the triptych deep enough to fit the layers before I crisp up the shape and solder it. I also cleaned more of the oxidation off the brass so I can get a better idea of how much detail I’m really getting in the engraving.

Some divine ecstasy à la Teresa of Ávila. This is a laser test on brass before I get out the silver. I’m uncharacteristically pleased with the art for this project and sad to lose a fair amount of detail to the size, but they have to fit in a little triptych.
