@aptshadow.bsky.social excellent book "House of Open Wounds" has a character that's arrested and pressed into military service for "god smuggling" (which to be fair he was totally doing) so "idea smuggling" is the sort of policy the Palleseen sway would most certainly enact and enforce.

Listening to Service Model, by @aptshadow.bsky.social, while I pack. It’s read by the author and, dang! He’s *good* at this. Like, Andy-Serkis-reading-LOTR good, which is high praise indeed! Bonus: Service Model has no songs (Apologies to Tolkien, but oof. Those songs are rough in audio format)
