Ukraine can't accept a truce without security guarantees and Russia can't accept Nato membership or European peacekeepers.... is anyone else concerned that what Trump/Musk might think to be the logical way to square that circle is to give Ukraine nukes? Musk might even offer to build them

I've said it before but it bears repeating: I do think that it is likely, perhaps probable, that the end of formal war in Ukraine will not be the end of violence but its transformation in to a much more brutal, bloody and longer lasting asymmetric conflict. It generally is.
