One of the easiest things people outraged about what is happening (AND PARTICULARLY JOURNALISTS) can do to help educate others and encourage them to make their opinions known is to USE ALT TEXT. Dear gods, it’s 2025. Pretend you care about disabled people, just for once.

Have YOU seen this beetle? I'd love to know if folk have seen this species around, and where. Thanks 🐞 #coleoptera #beetleoftheweek #no.4

@littleramstudio.bsky.social Good afternoon, Gary, just checking in to see how you are and to say that I’m thinking of you all x

Antidote. Just over a year ago I went to Belfast and saw these starlings.

There has been a lot of chatter today about Zelenskyy's meeting with Trump, some regarding this moment when White House correspondent Brian Glenn asked if the Ukrainian president plans to wear a suit. I want to address idea in this thread. 🧵

Winter Wander, 15cm x 10cm, ink on paper.

Our cyclamen surrounding the tree at the front. They are in danger of taking over the whole front grass. #flowers

If you'd like to follow #peatfree nurseries on Bluesky, I've started a list. Please let me know if I've missed any. Thanks 🙏

For a Friday pick-me-up, why not follow @wrkclasshistory.bsky.social? Their bio should convince you, if my recommendation doesn't.

New commission finished!! I didn’t think that people could keep ring-tailed lemurs as pets, but this submission from the wonderfully lovely Victoria Mitchell suggests otherwise. I don’t know what he’s called, but I’ve named him Kendrick Lemur.

This #buyastrangerabook offer from @katebakes.bsky.social is still up for grabs!

A long shot, but I'm after some tech support (paid!). We've launched a new website. Issue is (roughly): "We are unable to use #Office365 to send custom emails via #laravel #php app. And/or O365 is not allowing us to create app password in Microsoft admin manager" Tried reddit/forums etc. Pse RT

Open Gardens Burnage & Levenshulme 1st June (and perhaps 31st May too). Here’s a fantastic tropical yard in Lev, open for the first time in 2023 and hopefully open again in 2025 🤞

About Bud. Yeah, basically screenshotted an Instagram post. What’s a busy person to do? We’re reopening on Thursday 27th Feb at 10am. Boycott Amazon.

We were so sad to hear the news about Heather of @littleramstudio.bsky.social this week. Let's celebrate the beauty she bought to our feeds with her words and pictures. Share a photo or video of your own, inspired by her artwork (www.etsy.com/shop/littler...). And say #ThankYouHeather.

As the song on the radio played, Arnold couldn’t help but wonder if this poor Taylor Swift girl would ever find true happiness. He made a mental note to send her one of his tennis balls when he got home.

I feel like this is especially pertinent to crafts. I hear a lot of assumptions ala "oh, it's on YouTube so I don't need to save it. I'll just look it up when I need the technique." Babes, save that technique. Save that tutorial. Save that free pattern from that old blog.

We're right at the beginning of the floral calendar: snowdrops (Candlemas bells), hellebores & the first primroses are opening. The whole botanical year is ahead of us & yesterday I saw a bumblebee-it was *just* warm enough for it to forage. We're on the verge of spring...

📣 STUDIO SALE! I’ve discounted lots of work in my online shop to make room for new work this year and to raise funds for framing etc. Originals and some prints! claireleach.com/shop

Reposting, because it's so important that people know about this... #neonicotinoids #cats #dogs #birds #pesticides

My dream last night, said Ermine, was of a street in Chelsea, dusk, heavy snow, so quiet. A strange feeling of utter hopelessness, of utter debility & then in the distance, a shop or studio lit up, golden with light, a tall dark figure. And I went towards him & it & I was suddenly safe from all harm.

New commission finished!! The wonderfully lovely Stephanie Pierce messaged and asked if I could draw a picture of her pig. But then sent me a picture of this massive hamster? I don’t know what he’s called, but I’ve named him Nicht Swine.
