Yayyyyy! My visa process went smoothly and I should get my new card in a few weeks! Finally something good!

Sergeant Howie is a brave man who travelled to Summersisle of his own free will, with the power of a king. Keep your eyes peeled folks... #WickerMan #Horror #HorrorFilm

Ok. 20 is a lot of movies. I posted 8 for right now. I’ll get back to it later.

20 films I saw at #FilmFestivals that stayed with you and influenced you. No reviews or explanations, just posters.

I really liked The Pitt.

Austrian lobby card for the 1971 Mike Hodges film, GET CARTER. Text translates as ‘Jack Settles Accounts’.

***ANNOUNCEMENT*** Coming on July 21st in the UK and July 22nd in North America on #4K from @arrowvideo.bsky.social: #Cobra (1986)! A crazed killer. A woman in danger. A city in fear. Lt. Marion "Cobra" Cobretti is the man the LAPD calls when standard police procedure isn't enough.

I’m extra proud of the work I did for this @arrowvideo.bsky.social disc.

Full extras details are in the thread, but you need to buy this balls-out edition of COBRA just for the new essays by @archivistariel.bsky.social and @williambibbiani.bsky.social!

As a neurodivergent person, everything hurts more. As an ex-pat, I feel more isolated. As an older woman I feel less desirable. As a punk, I want to jump on this table and scream “fuck all this shit! Play some loud and fast music and let’s celebrate life!”

I lost a friend this week. Her choice. But she was my primary friend partner for the last few years. It seems like it was time. Ok, no problem. But I don’t have any ideas for a new writing piece & the person I’m chatting up is likely temporary too. My heart just feels so heavy. I want to write.

Just a reminder that Yul Brynner was so cool that even Yul Brynner would point out parking spaces for him.

Communication is critical. Every film I have ever watched has shown me thus. When there is a breakdown, someone gets hurt or dies. When there is a breakthrough? It may be painful, but resilience is what the finale displays.

Easter Sunday, we were walking Easter Sunday, we were talking Isabel, my little one, take my hand Time has come...
