I saw Al Franken take a small child (probably his daughter, Thomasin) out of a restaurant on Broadway near Columbia University. As I walked by, Franken stooped down to gently and earnestly talk to her, possibly about behavioral expectations.

I saw a "why should Black people care about ICE?" post on IG and I'm just floored just how much Black immigrants are rendered invisible while facing higher detention and deportation rates.

Counterpoint: foam core whiteboard protest signs (about $9 each at Michaels) decorated with Expo dry-erase markers can be used again and again. I've been using the same two foam core whiteboards since April! Any residue left from dry erasing wipes clean with rubbing alcohol and a rag.
