I honestly think that people who have been abused by their mother should be exempt from celebrating Mother's Day. Or perhaps it should be abolished. Like you should be honoring your mothers everyday unless they're abusive or a narcissist then...fuck them. Do self care instead.

I think tomorrow since I'm no contact with my mom, I'm going to get my hair cut and my nails done. I honestly really hate how you're supposed to do things for abusive and narcissistic mothers, but this is the first time that I can do some self care and not have to feel bad about it.
