If Back to the Future was made today the songs played at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance would include TLC's "Creep", Madonna's "Take a Bow", and Seal's "Kiss from a Rose." Marty would take the mic and perform Will Smith's "Gettin' Jiggy wit It". It would be a much worse movie.

One of my favorite Christmas facts is in the 80s, Weird Al Yankovic's record company insisted he record a Christmas album. So Al wrote (in his words) "a cheery little tune about death, destruction and the end of the world" called "Christmas at Ground Zero" – a song about nuclear destruction.
