The Catholic Church has a tendency to follow more progressive popes with more conservative ones. Lord knows Pope Francis was not perfect, but he was far better than Pope Benedict XVI who preceded him (and followed the more progressive Pope John Paul II). The next guy will not be a cool pope.

The Colossus computer designed at Bletchley Park to help in deciphering the Nazi's Enigma encryption machine in the 1940s could read 5000 characters per second. I am reliably informed that modern computers are somewhat faster.
