The Chiefs' journey has been fascinating, but the end result is unquestionably perfect. They won't play a meaningful game until January 18/19. Mahomes, Kelce, Jones, etc. will have nearly a month of rest before playing games that matter. That's incredible, and hard to quantify.

The concerning thing for me right now is the interconnected nature of the Chiefs' issues. The pass rush is underperforming while they're playing a CB2 who isn't a CB2 and a slot CB who isn't a slot CB. The O-line is up-and-down while the WRs separate inconsistently. Not ideal.
