Going back to my guest office with my amazing colleagues, I hope that one of them secures a permanent position someday and eases the stress of the uncertain science academic job market!

Finally completely deactivated my account in the other place. It was hard to let go - it led to great interactions, research collaboration, attending the best conference ever, and to top it all, my current job. But with what is going on in the US, no other choice. Hoping to find everyone here!

Two exciting peatland and upland PhD opportunities led by my excellent colleague Naomi Gatis @exeter.ac.uk @uoe-creww.bsky.social

We’re back from India! It was a great experience in the field, and I believe we gathered excellent data while fostering valuable collaborations. I also take with me the memories of the amazing people I met and the incredible food!

We are in our last week in India, we got nice spots of ecosystems to measure CH4 and CO2, now we need to process individual flux sources and work with the remote sensig and their idea to use PRISMA, EnMAP and Carbon Mapper!!!!

OK--this is intolerable. Email ASM President Theresa M. Koehler [email protected] and President Elect Alexander McAdam [email protected]

Big changes for 2025 🎉 Excited to be joining the Département des sciences biologiques at the Université du Québec à Montréal in June 2025 as an Assistant Professor and co-chair of the Research Chair in Carbon Dynamics in Wetlands! Will really miss Plymouth but excited for a new chapter!

Fun day out fluxing on the #peatlands with honours student Elly Tomorrow we’ll be doing the burned sites 🔥

A great CH4 and CO2 sampling experience in the wetlands of India. Kerala is a beautiful place with temperatures not as warm as I had expected, and the ABB-LGR is functioning well despite the moisture levels @leibnizigb.bsky.social @amritauniversity.bsky.social

We have arrived safely in India. Kerala is a beautiful place with wonderful food and friendly people. We will soon begin working on the DAAD project "Merging Approaches to Improve Estimates of Methane Emissions from Wetlands" @amritauniversity.bsky.social and @leibnizigb.bsky.social
