NEW from @nytimes.com: A bone-chilling account. A Venezuelan man detained alongside the 238 sent to El Salvador on March 15 seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth. His name isn't among the names of those sent to CECOT that day and no one spotted him among those men. He's just... gone.

Finally, I found a real benefit to the International Criminal Law book: I burned its texts and cooked them lunch. Because it's just ink on paper... And paper law burns beautifully, more than the justice we've never seen. As for its application? Leave that for conferences..🙂 #Gaza #Law

I'm a candidate for the upcoming local elections for a major political party. They expect me to deliver a ridiculous amount of leaflets, I just say I do but really I just dump them in my recycling bin. Nobody gives a shit about leaflets.

Stark, deal-breaking differences in Canadian leaders’ positions on Gaza. Singh (NDP) names the “genocide.” PP (Cons) depravedly ‘condemns’ “the rampaging riots targeting Jewish communities” (🙄, not a thing) Carney (Libs) calls for ceasefire, return of hostages, and aid. My vote has been decided.
