There was a threat against a school in my district. The district decided to close three schools tomorrow but not all of them. A neighboring district is closing schools also. My school is open but I’m not going in. Better to take threats seriously than not.

My school district made a social media post saying that they can no longer make decisions about two-hour delays in the cold. It is -1° now. No delay. The pushback from others is ridiculous. Yes, we did it when we were kids. Yes parents can drive kids to school. But not all. And those worry me.
