Wild this got the response it did. Tbh I do work really hard and have since college but people actually being able to SEE it is heavy for an artist. All the work, struggle and sacrifice goes unseen, so having that validation from anyone besides yourself literally means the world.

Picked up some good heat today at the LCS. New Samnee plus JLGL and Kevin Nowlan. I genuinely can’t believe how good Jose Luis Garcia Lopez is, one of the top 5 best in the medium. And this Nowlan Batman book is some of the best coloring I’ve ever seen. Love being a comic art old head.

I bear hug love the first 3/4 of Dragon Ball Daima. Yes they absolutely WIFFED the ending, SS4, etc. BUT it is so much good fun that I don't care. My biggest praise: I know I'll rewatch this a bunch for the rest of my life, with DB/DBZ. CONFIDENT I'll never give Super a second rewatch.

I think the premise is off. The fact liberals in political power are actively hostile (ranging from "shut them out of power" to "have the cops physically crush them") to pretty much any group outside the center-right, and have only grown moreso, makes most coalitions functionally impossible.

Part of me would love to wrap myself up in a comfort hobby like collecting Pokemon cards again, but the other part of me looks at the prices for that stuff and says nope. 8 pack box for $80-$100 is nonsense. Genuinely don't know how folks are doing that. The value to dollars is so off balance.

I finally got to Krillins death in the Dragon Ball manga and I have to say, the way it was done in the anime was better. I remember that moment being the biggest deal and being so affected by it. In the manga it’s literally half a page. Proves when DB filler is good, it’s great.
