Sometimes I wonder if art block is the fear of drawing better--like it's some sort of recursive subconscious curse we cast on ourselves because there's cold comfort in staying the same.

I can't even begin to express my excitement for the impending Tony Hawk announcement. Seems like it will be Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Remake. I love these games so much and I'm so happy to talk about them. THPS1+2 Remake is the reason I revived my channel in 2020 after it being dormant for a year.

I'm impressed I'm able to get a stable 60 FPS with 90% render resolution on Avowed with my 5700XT. FSR3 implementation is actually quite good too. Just can't stand the shimmer from FSR, no matter how well integrated it is—but I was generally expecting waaaay worse performance on PC.

Noticing a trend where a some big reviewers who don't like Avowed also played KCD2 before reviewing it. Several said they had to stop playing KCD2 to review Avowed and they didn't really want to do that. Lots of complaints seem to be about immersion, something KCD2 does extremely well. Oops!

Rewatching Jujutsu Kaisen with my wife is spinning up a visceral need to illustrate a one-shot comic I wrote about the Mob hiring a modern day warlock—to deal with a problematic spirit medium who communes with vengeful spirits, helping them get revenge. I might finally have the art chops for it.
