btw, one of the unspoken reasons why Bukele doesn't want to release Abrego Garcia is no prisoner is supposed to ever leave CECOT alive it's supposed to have that aura of doom and inescapability, and he would rather protect that than correct an injustice that put a prisoner there

I would also say, polling saying Bukele has a 90+% approval rating are probably not that trustworthy, given his government has the authority to detain people arbitrarily and effectively indefinitely. We don't take other authoritarian government approval ratings seriously, we shouldn't here either.

Random thing I think about from time to time... People like Trump and Musk, their whole lives, every thing they ever do, is a business expense, usually paid for by their company. Everything is a meeting, or R&D, or whatever. No food, no transport, no clothing, no housing. It's all business related.
