Life is hard and the world is scary. Here's a cute puppy.

Someone give this man all the Emmys.

The breakout star of #Severance, Mr. Tramell Tillman.

Helly R + Helena Eagan = Helleyna REAGAN. #severance is actually a cautionary tale about the dangers of trickle-down economics.

Meet Jaymeh (as in Jamie Tartt, because this is mah sexeh li'uhl behbeh)

wtf was couchfucker smoking at Yale?!, because what he's describing is literally the judiciary job description

Crazy #Severance theory, but I think @benstiller.redhour.com named Helly R after the character from Rossum's Universal Robots. In RUR Helena is an activist who believes robots have souls, and she's also daughter of some prominent company. She begs Lumon-- I mean, Rossum, to treat robots like people.

...I have SO. MANY. QUESTIONS. Mostly: "How?!?"

Ten bucks says: "Selvig" is Ms Cobel's married name, and Helena's driver is a clone of Mr Selvig.

With glowing hearts, we see thee rise: the true north, strong and free! From far and wide, O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!

...The housekeepers are in the kitchen, teaching my parrot to swear in Spanish. I kiiiinda want to ask them to stop?, but also, it'd be hilarious for Meeps to shout "pinche putas!!!" the next time they're here >.< You play with fire, you get the burn!!

I used to think birdwatching publications didn't proofread their headlines. I am now 100% certain that they DO.

Another day, another rousing game of #BLOTUS: "idiocy or malice?" (That's Bloviating Lunatic of the United States. Please pass along the acronym.)

Folks in Germany get it. Pretty sure Repugnicans do, too, they're just not yet ready to say the quiet parts out loud. (...Yet.)

Mailed a couple packages this morning. USPS had a line out the door, and all but two people were there applying for passports.

Is there room to both condemn @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com 's actions and still acknowledge that fame was a MASSIVE barrier to the resources where he might've learned consensual and safe avenues to get his needs met? I ask this as a power bottom, deeply saddened by the anti-BDSM sentiments I see.

"Is it my turn yet?"

Accurate.

Worst film of 2024, by FAR, was Megalopolis. I absolutely hated Babylon, and wrote a ten page scathing review of it. When I walked out of the cinema halfway through Megalopolis, I sighed and said, "well, I guess Babylon really wasn't all that bad after all."

He's just so stinkin' cute.

Wingspan turned me into a birder. There was one day I spotted a hummingbird, noticed a slash of red on its neck, and the card art flashed in my head. I heard myself say, "oh, that's a ruby-throated hummingbird," and I was SHOCKED.

posting pix of a chick and a nice pair of tits

Pretty sure there are more Dunkin's in Boston than there are Pret-a-Mangers in London.

I LOVE the new Supes. m.youtube.com/watch?v=9pm7...

Yesterday I discovered a nerdy friend with Igbo ancestry had never heard of @nnedi.bsky.social, so I immediately ordered the Akata trilogy from @powells.bsky.social. I LOVED the story, and it wasn't even written for me. SO excited I get to introduce someone to their soon-to-be favorite writer!
