Game #4 of 2025 - Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore. I picked this up as I love how goofy the cd-i Zelda games are. I think this pays a great homage to them but also delivers a very fun game. This is a game that just clicks for me. I ended up playing through 4 times and getting the platinum!

..and that's game number 4 of 2025 completed - Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore Saw this one on a few Indie recommended lists and it didnt disappoint. Its a great homage to the 16-bit platformers of old, and a kind of love letter to the infamous Zelda CD-i titles with it's "unique" style of cutscenes

Per tradition: I've looked back over the games I've played in 2024. My game of the year is: Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore. I went in expecting a jokey memey game, and left satisfied with a fun and legit funny game with character. It surprised me, which is why it wins out over Echoes.
