Israeli news celebrating the proposed disarming of Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. One of those camps is Shatila, which disarmed under Israeli pressure in 1982. What immediately followed was the worst massacre of Palestinian civilians before 2023.

There is reporting on X from journalist Mohammed Abo Mostafa that seven children in Gaza have undergone leg amputations without anesthesia. The reporting is accompanied by a photo of a child’s amputated lower leg in a plastic bag. Israel has created the largest cohort of child amputees in history.
