I warned the ppl around me to be careful with all this Whiteness stuff bc it was inevitable that some MENA ppl would start saying shit like “we were the original White ppl.” Although I am genuinely shocked it’s an Arab (not “aryan”) and not an Iranian (“aryan”). 🫠

Woooooahhh. In Nov, I texted my chair @anthonyclarkarend.bsky.social an idea to improve faculty peace of mind/safety. He said “good idea. Lemme look into that.” Today we got an email that they’re going to do it! 😭 I don’t think this has ever happened to me before!
