watch out for this! for folks who don't know: - windows+R opens the run window which lets you run any program - ctrl+V pastes so this puts some malicious command on your clipboard, then convinces you to run it yourself. don't.

I suggest anyone who still/wants to play DAI in the future, to perhaps create a hand full of characters and get them to Haven so you can sync with the Golden Nug AND import your world state. With all that is gong on with EA I can see them turning off the DA servers in the near future.
