Read a review post that was a huge “I don’t get the hype for this game = this game is bad don’t play it” and it just infuriates me so much. A game can be hyped up. You are allowed to not enjoy a video game. It can still be good despite these things. Not everything is about you, and that’s okay.

Ah heck. I’m really thinking about getting a tattoo more and more these days. I really want something like a woodcut engraving of something medieval looking. Like armor and weapons and something sick looking on my shoulder/arm. I can see this spiralling wildly out of control for me too. Hahaha!

I want to finish more video games this year. I’ve been struggling to see things through to the end and allow myself to enjoy them before I get distracted by something else. What are people’s good recommendations? It also doesn’t help that I love “unfinishable” games like MMOs and the like.

Finished King's Field IV last night in a discord playthrough with friends, and had an absolute blast with it. What a video game. It made me realise I haven't managed to finish many games as of late, it gripped me hard and I couldn't stop to put it down, kept going back - Spellbindingly wonderful.

Gargoyle’s Quest 『レッドアリーマー魔界村外伝』hits its 35th birthday today, it’s JP release and Capcom’s first Gameboy title, roughly in the first 50 launch titles. This game terrified my childhood and its soundtrack is stellar and haunting. A mix of top down RPG and platformer, my 5 year old mind was blown.
