I think most people who are sounding the alarm about democracy assume people understand why it's good and important but I kinda doubt it. And if we follow Russia's example most people may not even notice it gradually disappearing

Honest to god, the legal orgs and attorneys need to sue one of the hospitals in one of these blue states with civil rights protections for not providing trans care to trans youth. The lawyers at these hospitals only understand legal threats. They are complying with Trump because they're scared.
