You no longer need a plugin for checking color contrast in Figma! I love how so many tools have these checks integrated. No plugins, extensions or anything else needed! www.linkedin.com/posts/figma_... #accessibility #UXDesign #figma

I will simply explain it, and if that doesn’t work I will explain it more and better and more and better and more and

Week 9 teaching my first #GraphicDesign course: my students are making beautiful, complex vector graphics. They’re using swatches, paragraph styles, dynamic symbols, and all the Illustrator features I wish I knew about as a young designer. And yes: they are naming their layers and artboards!

today: desperately trying to catch up on work after a week of sick days & inclement weather 🥲 tomorrow: returning to reality with zero stress because I Finally get to introduce my design students to vector graphics 🤠

New on LFLegal: Another small business filed a federal class action lawsuit against a web #accessibility #overlay company. Why was UserWay sued? It believed the hype, licensed the software, and still got sued by a #blind person who couldn't use the site. #disability www.lflegal.com/2025/02/user...

Literally the one right answer

these cabinet announcements are like an advent calendar counting down to the apocalypse

let us not define ourselves by our tools, but by the things we make with them

Just an appreciation post for my compassionate, resilient, beautiful wife, Liz. When every day is full of bad news, she reminds me that good things are on the way. Just gotta keep fighting. 💜

Week 4 teaching my first #GraphicDesign course: my students are reminding each other about keyboard shortcuts, naming their layers, and using nondestructive editing techniques. I think I might cry ??

If I won the lottery, I wouldn't tell anyone, but there would be signs

Can't believe going to bed earlier makes me feel better. So mad.

I don't care how long ago your Hot Topic phase was when Black Parade by My Chemical Romance comes on you WILL be the savior of the broken, the beaten and the damned

Today was the first project critique in the design class I’m teaching this semester! It went so well and I’m thrilled. High energy, lots of good feedback, 100% participation. Now we’re moving into our final Photoshop project: movie posters. My cat Moon Pie may or may not make an appearance. 🐱

hello new pottery friends 🫶 My name is Ashi! I’m an accessibility professional, designer, and interdisciplinary artist. I started doing ceramics in 2023 and fell in love with it. I don’t think I’ve found my style yet, but my favorite thing is making sculptures out of wheel-thrown parts.

Made it through week 1 teaching my first college course! 🤠 It hasn’t been easy, but I’m enjoying it so much. Working with students reminds me of why I love #GraphicDesign: there are so many things you can accomplish and so many avenues to get there.

Boy, things that were "never going to happen" sure do keep happening a lot.

Moon Pie finally figured out that he can scoot the gate away from the wall to get around it. But hey, this worked for 2 months!

I’m not resharing that clickbait NYT opinion piece about AI, but LOL @ “enhance individual empowerment” because how do you measure that? That’s just words! AI optimism is just techbro Goop lmao
