But it is not "7 reactors at 20 bn a reactor". The proposal was 5 reactors (0.5GW capacity) and 2 reactors at 1GW capacity. They cant be the same cost per reactor. Lets assume they are saying the 5 reactors are 20 BN each (cost will fluctuate depending on freight and wages). 1GW are NOT 20bn each

Not sure if people get it yet. One of the reasons a lot of things are made in countries such as China and India etc is the relatively cheap labour. West cant compete with that. Only manufacturing is changing. Less people based and more robotics and AI. Which means labour cost issues reduced.
