Profile pic is, no lie, taken using my phone during an aurora borealis. My main pic are the Blue Oyster mushrooms I grew in a box. Are they cute or what?! Delicious too.

Haven’t seen the new movie, but so amazed by Pamela’s public “transformation”. Being so brave to show herself in a way when women in the industry aren’t “supposed” to age. But still displaying her real beauty. www.theguardian.com/culture/2025...

Ok so I thought I did something tonight. After all my “normal” chores as a housewife, I did a little unhoarding in the kitchen and am cleaning at setting up pet fountains as instructed. From her reaction, I’m still #worthless

I think I’m gen x, and I at least need an ask for a teams call. And 99% of the time it’s only necessary if one of us has to share our screen.

😭😭😭 no words can describe

Another great episode and found another author to read/listen to. I’ll go through the transcript later to grab a great quote I heard. May be biased because I love using it for work, but AI transcribing is so helpful. Not perfect, but super helpful.

My #barnpossum decided to go to sleep with the chickens. Had to kick the poor guy out of the coop and into the barn. And yes, shooing away an animal that freezes in place is not easy lol.

Very interesting. Rebind is worth checking out. Loved the comment “And people want to have a social network that is not stupid and doesn't play to the lowest common denominator of our nature”

Hey #ghosts need a business analyst to work through things? Seriously, I can help. Not a drama queen youtoober. Really here to help.

Sooo. Oliver Sacks is no longer with us but since then I’ve learned his brilliance. With that said, he was not a practicing Jew but loved the gefilte fish his mom made. He described it and it’s something I want to learn.

Songs, singers, bands, and even classical music have helped me make it through my life. Share your #musicallifesavers

Another song another person that was a #musicallifesaver Miss you Chester Bennington music.youtube.com/watch?v=8sgy...

Sorry, I forget how social media works. Please share your #musicallifesavers

Something is wrong with me had no idea don McLean and Nanci Griffith ever sang together. Both among my musical lifesavers. music.youtube.com/watch?v=lTRp...

“The saddest aspect of life right now is that science gathers knowledge faster than society gathers wisdom.” Asimov

Not much for social media, but many others I follow came here and so far so good.

This is one thing. At the same time, what can you do with a drug you can’t really take (allergies, side effects, etc). Not like we can legally donate it to someone that can’t afford it, but there really should be an #rxbank

So I may have ideas for #cookingforpickypeoole. I’ve actually been doing it for one picky eater for years. Anyone interested?

Journaling again. A 3 day streak even. Want to write something, anything each day from here on out.

You had me at Chop Wood, Carry Water. May have a political read I can handle.

Just noticed a journal prompt I wrote for myself the other day. When I became a WIMP. Really???!!!! lol I’ve always been a wimp on the outside but am strong and fierce on the inside, even though I use crutches (like for @ 10 years wine). The prompt was actually When I became a #wino

Saw one of my chubby possums tonight. Left the can with goat feed open and he was able to get a good snack lol. Can’t turn my back without a #barncritter showing up.

You really have to be close up to get amazing photos like this. My partner got some amazing pics at a controlled training burn , but doing work like this in these LA fires with the crazy wind is no joke and deserves credit.

These extraordinary photos of the LA fires have been shared widely on social media, often without crediting the photographer. These are all the work of Ethan Swope, an LA-based photojournalist working for AP. You can follow his remarkable reporting here👇 www.instagram.com/ethanswopeph...

Neither of us is Jewish, she has been to nyc at some time in her life and maybe even had a pastrami sandwich at Katz, but her liking my pastrami over any others gives me hope that I have some talent in something

With this said . . . My partner has so far liked my homemade pastrami (using a packer brisket where I had to see a few YouTube butchering directions on YouTube and then find an excellent recipe for a Katz deli copycat)

This room needs no work. Said no one ever except my partner that wanted me to make dinner because I obviously had no work to do (and yes , depending on their mood they may be pissed at me for the mess, along with not having a place for all the stuff they buy)

Omg. Watching a documentary of off the grid squatters in the AZ desert on Prime. One of the commercials is for the pristine Sandals resorts. Damn. I’m in between, but more likely to choose squatting over a sandals resort #totaladfail

P.S. You can probably set up recurring donations taken out of your paycheck as well. My employer automatically matches them, but you may need to request.

My employer matches donations to Midwest Access Coalition. While it won’t be tracked here , I figured doubling my donation would help more. If you work for a big corporation, check for a donation and/or volunteer program. Their generosity on this level may surprise you and should be utilized.
