Profile pic is, no lie, taken using my phone during an aurora borealis. My main pic are the Blue Oyster mushrooms I grew in a box. Are they cute or what?! Delicious too.

I had a virtual encounter with her during the lockdown. while I’m a skeptic and not who was actively part of that event my partner signed up for, Cindy picked up on the twin I shared in the womb, which is not shared knowledge. Still a skeptic, but Still trust Cindy.

That is very true, and I tend to forget that and take the “like” button too literally.

Yep. It’s hard to hit like/love when it’s not what you feel

I have obviously had my head in the sand. While I’m a couple hours north, had no idea UW Madison had this dept. Probably should have figured considering their veterinary school is pretty progressive (and humans tend to come before animals)

I heard Obama speak as a new senator in 2004 at the dem convention (can’t believe I was there, still not sure why it’s not just called a rally). He blew everyone away, even my conservative Mormon coworker back home. But that does seem like another lifetime ago . . .

With that said, I will probably pick and chose literal “truths” and inspiration from what they created and that I feel are necessary, k owing I need to address both their wrong doing in life along with their right doing in their art, no matter how far off the 2 are

Once upon a time I didn’t think so. But now I have to agree. Just the fact that when his name now comes up, l’m like, Oh, that dude I once thought was OK as a “free thinker”. Have since reconsidered the “free thinker” definition that I find OK.

Damn. So tired of identifying with art that gives me inspiration and motivation (mostly movies and music) only to find the creator is not someone I want to empower. Not saying I’m not I’m perfect or even a good person in the end or that I’ve empowered people that should not be.

Love it! New inspiration for my side hussle/art but also reminds me why I stay in my job—to pull at the threads in that industry.

"Meet me in the middle," says the unjust man. You take a step towards him, he takes a step back. "Meet me in the middle," says the unjust man.

I’m sure raw milk is delicious, but I gotta agree with this. I had a pipe dream of doing goats milk and found it way too much for many many reasons.

BTW I tend to be literal. For example, until that hard lesson, I had no clue that “American” did not include any continent with the word America. Obviously my essay was ridiculed. I’m still proud of it even though it sucked for other reasons.
