Listen, I can’t believe they resent working on Good Omens. I can’t believe they’re keeping quiet because they want to get it over with and pretend it never happened. The way it became our story, it became theirs, too. I believe they’re protecting a hard-won, phenomenal ending to a story they love.

I’m an English teacher, and I’ve learned that you simply can’t. The best thing to do is give people the freedom to read anything they want, the knowledge to help them know what type of stories they like, the access they need to find those books in libraries, and the encouragement to keep reading.
