Groundhog Day vs. Imbolc: Spring’s Weather Predictions I know I’m a bit late with this, and it would have been better last week, but I already had a post scheduled.  I was struck with the similarity of the US Groundhog Day with the ancient Celtic festival of Imbolc.  It happens on the same day,…

Discover Haikus & Poetry Inspired by Winter I am currently reading D Wallace Peach's latest book, The Season's Weaver. It deals with a world plunged into perpetual winter. I will be reviewing it shortly. It made me think of a Haiku I wrote. It's still winter, and although we have no snow here, at…

Some Fascinating Facts About London.

Miira Tahn: A Sci-Fi Journey Through Life and Death. My Review of the book. OVERVIEW. This is an omnibus of three books, but it reads as one. I would not be able to say where one book ends and the next one begins. As a result, I would recommend reading the omnibus rather than an individual book.…

Horselords has been released I heard this morning that the fourth novella in the Wolves of Vimar prequels is not available. This one tells the story of Davrael and Kimi; how they met and how they come to be in Grosmer. BLURB For all her life, Kimi has been taught that the Wanderers, as the nomadic…

Heart-Wrenching Story of Family Betrayal I think this was a recommendation by Sally Cronin. Thanks, Sally. An amazing book. I finished it a couple of days ago, but it's still resonating. I think I’ve just found my new favourite author. OVERVIEW A heart wrenching story told with sympathy and…

I've recently received a certificate in proof reading. I am therefore looking for clients. As yet, I obviously have no experience, and it's difficult to get started. If you would like me to give you a sample, please send 1 chapter to me, or contact me on [email protected]

#writing. I've just finished what feels like the 1,000 edit of my #fantasy romance, Horselords. I'm currently reading it through for what I hope is the final time. I can nearly quote it verbatim! Then I hope to send it to my editor this week.

I #amwriting, or rather re-writing, my #fantasy novella. It's actually a #romantasy prequel to my Wolves of Vimar series. I think I'm nearing the end of the process.

I'm getting there with my fantasy novella, Horselords. Nearly finished the writing, editing etc, and hope to soon send it to my publisher.

#writing #fantasy. I'm considering rewriting my first fantasy book. I've learned a lot since I wrote it and am sure I can now do a better job. Have you ever rewritten a published book? What was the result?
