Autism does not define me, it just warps my reality a little bit.

Not sure if I should be taking him seriously or not. He talks a lot but does not appreciate how absurd he sounds. Complaining about unelected officials... forgetting about Elon Musk.

Essentially it seems we shouldn't give men with Autism guns or knives because we have long memories and hold a grudge like you wouldn't believe.

One good thing about the big orange man baby being president again is my loo brush is still relevant.

@tflbot.bsky.social Hassan Hama (station manager at Liverpool Street) leaves vulnerable disabled people stranded for over two hours because they cannot apply rules properly. Disgraceful. Not felt so hurt and angry in years.

Our floor cleaner must be made from Peckham Spring.

I managed a week on X but it's relentless right wing agenda is demoralising.

Wow Twitter/ X is a horrible place now. Lots of very bitter people spouting vile nonsense with no one to challenge them.

Has anyone on here been to Autscape in the UK. I have and I would be interested to hear other people's opinions.

It's alarming here in the U. K just how many young children are being excluded by primary school dispute having an EHCP in place. The EHCP is supposed to be followed and the money should be ring fenced so schools cannot use it for other things.

The reality of the Autism v Aspergers debate is there is only one difference between the two conditions and that is children with Aspergers tend not to have / had a speech and language delay. It is harder to diagnose the older adults get because ideally they need a parents input.

The problem with the Autism v Aspergers debate is that parents seem to think that it's a badge of honour that comes with a high IQ attached.

Autism as a condition is not a real problem. It's only when neurotypicals are added to the mix we are made to feel less valued.

Autism for me is about trying to control the influence the rest of the world has on me. Sometimes that starts with me and my personal space, sometimes my room, sometimes my home but very rarely anywhere else. The best I can do is try and sit in the same spot round other people’s houses.

I guess I am reaching out to the Autistics out there / on here etc.. but what are your opinions & feelings about so many spree killers around the world (not just in the U.S) turning out to be Autistic? I guess we all understand the isolation and bullying that we have all suffered but…. do they snap?

I was on Twitter for years and had a few followers and messaged some famous people I had time for, William Shatner was one. He had some interesting views on Autism which we talked about occasionally.

My best friend….pretty much my only friend but that’s fine with me.

I am a person with Autism as opposed to being an Autistic person. It’s an unpopular thing to say but it’s how I feel.

This is my first post. I left X / Twitter after making an ill considered joke to Nigel Farage. Looking and talking like him you’d think he would be funnier and less sensitive.
