Understand USDA is now fast tracking to rehire front line employees working on bird flu outbreaks. They were “accidentally” fired by the administration.  Translation: Nice job Musk! You and your friends will still get your tax breaks, but higher egg prices for everyone else.

Let me speak to the DOGE audit language. Many people who work in both the Treasury and specifically the IRS are CPAs. Most audit firms hire CPAs. A 19yo coder has absolutely no idea how to accurately identify waste or fraud. Calling what DOGE is doing as a audit, is a flat out lie.

FAA workers fired by Trump on the Friday before a busy holiday weekend included radar, landing, navigational aid maintenance, and air traffic controller. The National Air Traffic Ass said in a statement it was "analyzing the effect of the reported federal employee terminations on aviation safety."
