Here’s the #tedx talk I did back in Oct! I very much hope I get to keep the job I love so much #nasa #jwst youtu.be/w5wdvywgQzg?...

Multiple people have jokingly commented to me in the last couple weeks that if I’m fired, at least I’ll have more time to go to more @pearljam.com shows 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠 Laugh to keep from crying, y’all. Seriously, friends who are Feds - hang in there ❤️

Another big #nasa Roman milestone! The sunshade was just recently installed! Heading towards launch in less than two years www.nasa.gov/universe/nas...

I love the dimensionality of today’s #astronomy picture of the day. These are all interstellar dust clouds - in some cases, dust obscures starlight; in others it reflects. All beautiful! #apod #space 📸: Roberto Marinoni apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap25021...

There's more #space in your life than you think! Check out this year's #nasa spinoff roundup! ✨ spinoff.nasa.gov

This is a video of clouds. ON MARS. "Curiosity Mars rover captured these drifting noctilucent, or twilight, clouds in a 16-minute recording on Jan. 17. (This looping clip has been speeded up about 480x)" #nasa Read more: www.nasa.gov/missions/mar...

Learn from the stars in the new Universe update and keep your light shining bright, no matter how turbulent it gets ✨ science.nasa.gov/universe/

I'm partial to images of space 😉 but WOW, this #nasa Image of the Day is STUNNING. This is Mount Everest, taken from space shuttle Columbia in 1995 😮 www.nasa.gov/image-detail...

#SuperBowl

LEGEND. It’s been a very tough couple weeks - I really needed this. Live music therapy FTW! #livemusic

Gorgeous new #Hubble image of the Bullseye Galaxy 🤩 ~50 million years ago the smaller blue galaxy to the left plowed through the Bullseye, leaving the stunning rings like ripples in a pond✨ Read more: science.nasa.gov/missions/hub... #nasa #space #astronomy

I was looking back through the Astronomy Picture of the Day archive...the pic for last Tuesday, the day we had to say goodbye to our sweet Great Dane Atlas, was this: "Comet G3 ATLAS over Uruguay" 🥺❤️ (📸: Mauricio Salazar) apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap25012...

This stunning new #jwst image showcases a protoplanetary disc - the very beginnings of a baby star & planet system. The star is embedded down in the center of the dusty disc, and new data show how dust grains are distributed ✨ Read more: esawebb.org/images/potm2... #nasa #esa #space

Happy birthday to my favorite 😀❤️ This album came out just a few months before I graduated high school. It’s STILL my favorite #pearljam

Behold, a slowly exploding star - today's #apod 💥 Image via #nasa; Processing & License: Judy Schmidt apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap25020...

Y’all, it’s been a ROUGH week. This memory reminds me of the joy I had one year ago today - hearing the debut of the new #pearljam album, w/ Eddie Vedder in the audience rocking out with us! Incredible day

Just got this in the mail today, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. It’s been a tough week for us federal workers.

Absolutely incredible! "these primitive asteroids almost certainly delivered both water and prebiotic organics to Earth" Discovered because NASA sent a robot to an asteroid, scooped up a sample of asteroid bits, and returned it to Earth. via @mashableofficial.bsky.social mashable.com/article/nasa...

Isn’t it strange how we humans willingly go into a relationship with these precious beings, knowing that they will almost certainly leave this life before us, and yet - we choose love anyway. Maybe that’s the lesson - love is worth it, always. Thank you for your kind words, everyone. RIP, Atlas❤️

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our bestest boy Atlas ❤️ He was by my side from the day he slept in my lap in the backseat of a little airplane from Pennsylvania to his home here with us. He had the best ever head tilts and the best snuggles and we loved him so much.

Two of my favorite places: Yosemite and the Pleiades 😉 “Pleiades over Half Dome” - today’s #apod 📸: Dheera Venkatraman apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap25012... #space #astronomy

This is a fun thread! 😀

Look for the beautiful things. Hang in there, friends ❤️ This Hubble image features a dusty yet sparkling scene from one of the Milky Way’s satellite galaxies, the Large Magellanic Cloud, which is ~160,000 light-years away #nasa #space #astronomy www.nasa.gov/image-detail...

I had an incredible time at the Richmond Forum last weekend! So thrilled & grateful to be able to share the #jwst story, images, & incredible science with the world at these events ✨ Some highlights are here; I think they'll release the whole talk later #nasa #space www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahiI...

#nasa Habitable Worlds Observatory: A super Hubble to search for life in the universe and perform transformative astrophysics ✨ The future of astronomy has huge potential with this incredible mission! #aas245

If you’re at #aas245 stop by the #nasa #jwst booth and say hi - I’ll be here until 6:30 😀

At the American Astronomical Society annual meeting - Science lead Nicky Fox kicks off the #nasa Town Hall with heartfelt words about our colleagues in LA who have lost everything. Science is done by people, and it’s a rough time right now ❤️ #aas245

Had a fantastic time at the Richmond Forum this weekend, talking about new #jwst discoveries and the incredible possibilities that lie ahead in #nasa astrophysics ✨🚀

Super excited for my talk tonight at the Richmond Forum! 😀✨🚀 #nasa #jwst

Thinking of you all, LA area friends ❤️

So grateful to part of such an incredible lineup! Looking forward to my talk this weekend at the Richmond Forum ✨🚀

It’s strange how utter destruction can be so stunningly beautiful. Why do we find these images beautiful? Perhaps it’s because deep down we recognize that these are our origins. Stars had to explode to give rise to us ✨ Today’s #apod: apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap25010... 📸: Stéphane Vetter
