That's so valid. I'm worried and planning a big garden this year but also looking forward to how beneficial working in the dirt and manual labor will be for my mental health.

Look at what Stalin did when he took power. He literally starved and murdered like a third of the population. "Beat them into submission" is a classic in the dictator play book.

Even if we gave him the benefit of the doubt (I don't) and say he didn't mean it, he still didn't apologize or in any way show remorse. That's enough of a problem on its own.

My favorite board games for two (but they aren't narrative): Boop- a cross between chess and tic tac toe, but with cats! Patchwork- build your board a piece at a time, much like tetris Forbidden island- a cooperative adventure where you have to find the treasure and escape before the island sinks

Corporate-owned social media companies have an adversarial relationship with their customers: they profit from worsening our mental health. A US-owned TikTok wouldn't change that. We should be regulating *all* social media companies more ...and building platforms not owned by billionaires. 5/🧵

They never should have gotten behind it in the first place. Even dems who were using the app to great success voted against it.

With all the fires around, I think boring is probably a good thing.

Have you tried Obsidian? Because it's a virtual notes app that basically looks like this and it's amazing.
