Curious about other journals and Submittable: do you find that people often submit to the wrong category? Ever since we've been courting reviews, more than half of submissions are people submitting their poems instead of book reviews. How do you handle this?

Black Friday Subscription Sale!!! We're offering 2 years for the price of 1 ($20 for 4 issues) from now until Dec. 2nd! atlantareview.submittable.com/submit

So happy our Fall issue is out now! Thanks for tagging us with your poems, @saramoorewagner.bsky.social and @philgoldstein.bsky.social! We love them!

We're so excited to see all the new people on Bluesky! And we can't wait to read your skeets, especially if they contain poems!

Kansas City here we come!

Come find us at #AWP! We'll be at T1724 on the Bookfair Boulevard! Can't wait to see you!

We've sent the Fall issue off to the printer! Now to get back a final galley proof, check it over, and then hopefully issues will be mailed out in December!

I always get excited when I'm close to putting an issue of @atlreview.bsky.social to bed. The fall issue is going to be awesome! (But we're also taking subs for spring, so poets, be sure to send your work our way!)

Sent out the galley proofs to everyone in the Fall issue... hoping to hear back from everyone by next week so I can send the issue off to the printers!

We're so excited to announce that Kareem Tayyar is winner of the 2023 International Poetry Contest. He wins $1000 and publication in the fall issue for his poem "Two Poets"! Victoria Chan was the final judge. Congratulations!
