Replicas of the Gadget, Little Boy and Fat Man bombs displayed at American museums in New Mexico. Little Boy was a "uranium gun-type" while Fat man was a "plutonium implosion-type." Fat Man was essentially the Gadget placed into a bomb housing. Fat Man went into production as the Mk III bomb.

Potash evaporation ponds near Moab, Utah. The ore is mined by being dissolved in water before being pumped to the surface. Blue dye is added in the ponds to accelerate evaporation. The mine produces nearly 1,000 tons of potash every day, which is then transported out via rail for use as fertilizer.
