My story "Remembrance" is live today on ergot. It's about being trapped in someone else's memory, kind of! #SpecLit #FlashFiction

Reminder that I am running a promotion to get The Nightmare Box into libraries! πŸ“š See below ...

I have published more than 400 of my stories and poems across 6 years, read/edit for several journals, and have worked with clients who went on to publish in many pro venues (from unthemed magazines to themed anthologies). Give my editing services a try!

Finally feeling slightly better than hot-boiled shit, so a very belated update: Happy Pride, congrats to all the Stoker and Nebula winners, billionaires shouldn't exist, fuck the police, and have a great weekend!

Oh hey, I have another story out today! My return to StP is a queer horror tale of revenge, of making and unmaking. Read my little story of unbirthdays here and find about the vivisected shape of the world once it refuses to accommodate you:

Support for Reckoning has flagged a bit since our 2022 fundraiser. We don't want to roll back payrates--we want to pay more, so more marginalized folks can have room to write about environmental justice and teach us how to be better! Please help if you can? reckoning.press/one-more-cal...

Our gratitude for each one of you is immense. We feel this. We know we can get there. This 15 is a real number, it's the lowest goal we could set and not have to cancel projects. If we can get to that 15 today, the weight lifted would be immense. Here's the thing: www.gofundme.com/f/a-small-pr...

My story 'Sleeping Arrangements' is listed here alongside other incredible recommendations from Reactor. Thank you, Alex Brown, for the story's inclusion and the wonderful review!

Just popping in to say that my story "Waystations Lost" has been accepted by @seizethepress.bsky.social. Trivia that will probably never come up otherwise: the story was inspired by a single phrase in Blood Cultures' "Glass."

3 hours left! Time to finish up those edits and get to sending!

Every article about Red Lobster filing for bankruptcy is "ha ha endless shrimp, what did they think would happen" and then buried ten paragraphs down is the usual:

Any time the media wants to quit believing all the horseshit that OpenAI is shoveling, that'd be amazing. A computer cannot be "playful," it does not have "moods." It will not "sing" or "write poetry." It does nothing but return a probabilistic outcome based on what it's told. That is IT.
