Today I shall be watching Dr Who (Eccleston, I've restarted the Nu Who) and painting the deer skull. 1st coat of black paint on sonar and need to wait for it to dry.

Student finished up today. She dod really well for her very first placement. Addictions can be weird at times and it is a bit of an eye opening 1st placement option. And she got me a cute mug with bats on.

I was faffing with sealing wax the other day, as you do. Unfortunately, I am clumsy as hell and I have jist noticed that I have a burn blister on my finger. It is just above my rings on my left hand.

Big fire near my folks' place. And apparently a load of people are driving up the road to go and have a look at it. Do not do that. It is dangerous and stupid. And pretty fucking ghoulish.

Went to craft fair today with friends. Walked to Barras from Central. Got there an hour early (cos my time blindness and lateness anxiety is annoying) so went for a 45 min walk around the Green. Walked back to Central with friend and her boys.

Got a doorbell alert earlier while I was at work. Opened the video and it was a student nurse and a district nurse. They were looking for a Jean. That's the second time it has happened.

We are going to be starting a walking challenge thing in work. So I've started walking of an evening. The weather is helping. And I have an image to maintain so I'm walking around the cemetery. Did 30 mins yesterday and today.

More emails from the RCN about the crisis of corridor care. It is awful. Anything about rising caseloads in community? Cuts to community services? The employment crisis in the community? Of course not. If you nurse anywhere other than a hospital ward, the RCN and the NMC barely know you exist.

Deer skull is finished cleaning. I now need to scrub off the mud and plant bits and let it totally dry out before I can paint it.
