It's funny. On here, I keep hearing that #romantasy is overdone. Yet my reader base is begging for more - and growing constantly. Granted, I also write polyamorous, diverse, queer-inclusive but plot heavy stuff. Dunno if that changes it. I also wrote this stuff before it had a catchy name.

My answer is marketing. Lots and lots of it. That includes working with other authors, mentioning them to your reader base (and them doing the same for you) as well as targeting like-minded books by other indies for your ads. Discoverability requires the business side of this gig.
