I picked up a Meebook M6, because I wanted an ereader that could do Kobo, Kindle, Libby etc, without switching between readers. Yes, there are workarounds for transferring books from PC, but I'm lazy and would rather just have everything in one place. So, here's some thoughts.

We started watching Megalopolis. At some point husband paused the movie, both of us expecting it would have a few mins left. We've watched for an hour... And there's still an hour left. I have no idea what is going on.

So ... Where are the bookstagram and booktok people going? Bluesky is good, I like Bluesky... But it can't replace them, can it? I've seen some people suggest Tome for booktok? (And already preregistered.) But if we want to show Meta the finger, we kinda need an Insta replacement as well. 🤔

It was too loud. Too many people. The walls were closing in and my breath was coming faster and faster. He takes my hand, pulls me out of the apartment and into the stairwell. The air is cool, it's quiet. He stays while my panic subsides. Our own party, of sorts, in the stairwell.
