Environmental impact is one of the cornerstone reasons I decided to become vegan. Our bodies don't need meat, and the amount of resources and land that we use to grow and slaughter animals is baffling. The Amazon, in particular, is constantly being cut back to make room for livestock.

I went to my favorite local bookshop on "small business Saturday" because what I need is an excuse to buy more books. Seeing the store so busy, people smiling and laughing, swapping suggestions - it was a beautiful thing that brought me so much joy. 💙
