In chapter 9 of Second Son, Dauger arrives at the Bastille in 1698. "The reason for this inconvenient placement was that the Bastille was planned to be, when the first stones were laid in 1356, a fortified city gate in the wall under construction by King Charles V(1) #skystorians

From the (prisoner) comte de Lauzun to the marquis de Louvois, from Pignerol prison 27 January 1680 (…) I declare that I am less impatient to leave prison than to inform you immediately of something you need to know: but it must be told in person and only to you without any other (1)#skystorians

Chapter 7 of Second Son (available on Amazon) is "The Prisoners." One was a Black immigrant from Cabo Verde, Guillaume la Rivière, who became the Man in the Iron Mask's helper and friend. He had been Nicolas Fouquet's valet. He died in Exiles prison in the Alps just before the move to Cannes.

Chapter 6 of Second Son: From Louvois to Duclos, “I will appreciate it if you will keep until I return the box (cassette) that the sister of the deceased Nallot has for you, and Carpatry will bring you a bed cover that you must keep until my return and be absolutely sure that you don’t screw it up"

Chapter 5 of my new book, Second Son, a true crime detective non-fiction (It is available from the publisher for $19 as an e-book at legacysector.com/product/e-bo...) is called "Fouquet and Colbert." They were two financial wizards who competed for Louis XIV's favor.(1) #booksky

Chap 4 of Second Son (available as ebook at legacysector.com/product/e-bo...) is "The Valet" Our first detective work on the tricky word games played in the 17th-century. The marquis de Louvois made a pun and we all fell for it. #skystorians #booksky

#booksky The 3rd chapter of my book Second Son is "Leaks, Speculations, and Suspicions." Here is where the detective work begins. Voltaire was the chief rumor spreader in 1751. Dauger, aka the Man in the Iron Mask, had been dead by that time for 48 years after 34 years in prison #paris

In chapter 2 of my new book Second Son ($19 as ebook available at legacysector.com/product/e-bo...) #booksky "It is time for investigators of this seventeenth-century cold case to start proposing theories about Dauger’s life and location before his arrest. But that task is very hard because

I am going to give content of each of my 20 chapters in Second Son, the Man in the Iron Mask. This book has answers! Chapter 1, overview of the mystery, arrest of Eustache Dauger in Calais in August 1669 by a warrant personally ordered and signed by Louis XIV. #booksky image of the warrant.

Please, can the specialists on drug addiction give us any insight about Musk's behavior right now?

Hi all, We’re still here at OPM. We have a situation where we MIGHT, and I do mean, MIGHT have four of Elon’s people blocked from the building. Can we get press or a member of Congress down here? We’ve blocked them for two hours and they keep coming back and trying to go in.

If Musk and his hackers can get into the Treasury department and other agencies' files, why should we not suspect they did the same thing to the voting apparatus last year? i.e....maybe the election was stolen.

#booksky My intensely researched book about the Man in the Iron Mask, a true story with real historical people who are so outsized you could never make them up. A great read, a great detective story. It is available from the publisher as an e-book at legacysector.com/product/e-bo...

#skystorians #frenchhistory So 15 years of work on figuring out who the Man in the Iron Mask was, tremendously expensive research trips and much anguish, published the book in August with a very small publisher, no bookstores will carry it, my university

Prediction: Trump won't move into the White House, he will stay in Florida and there will be offices for staff there and all visitors will come there. The White House will be practically empty.

#frenchhistory #skystorians Comparison can be made of Trump's war talk before he is in office to Louis XIV's launch, at the get-go of his reign, of the War of the Spanish Devolution to claim Spanish properties his wife had relinquished in their marriage contract. Both desired chaos to prove power.
