Circa 1960, VW Beetle being squeezed into a Northern Consolidated plane in Alaska. Northern Consolidated merged with Wien in 1968. The plane (an F-27?) is named after Harold Gilliam, one of Alaska's early pilots. He died in a 1943 crash. Via UAF Archives #alaskahistory #alaska

The TSA bins in MCO has a big ass Stitch printed in them. While the TSA agent with a soul as dead as this remake are barking at everyone exhausted and overstimmed af, you see just stacks and rows of the stupid bins with an image of this pug nosed wannabe Stitch digging thru your luggages too

Lycoming O-145 update: pulled a cylinder head. She's brand new w (except for the fact it doesnt want to spinn. Been sitting too long I think. No corrosion that I can see yet tho! Fr tho... how did i get a rebuilt airplane engine for 300 bucks??? This is like winning the lottery, only better 🥹
