My 2¢ on the Kant affair - words only have the power that we give them. So many women and queer folk are reclaiming the word cunt as something positive, like in the context of the song here. To say it's never appropriate and always a slur gets in the way of that reclaiming effort.

Dreamt last night that I was in Latvia at a ESC-connected contest where all the artists who got second place in their nfs were invited to compete with their songs. Kur had won the year before 💜 This show attracted a lot of fan drama about whether second places should've won as you can imagine 😭
