Submitted for your approval, a non-functioning speed sign, placed in the bike lane on Doolittle Dr. on 09/07/23 by ... the Oakland Police Department! They wanted to discourage speeding, but it simply forced cyclist to mix w/ 50 MPH traffic. Reported it to OAKDot. All I ever heard was crickets.

Back in January, I was close-passed by an East Bay Regional Park District pickup near Miller/Knox Park at Pt. Richmond. Definitely less than 3 feet. Found this on the SD card for my bike's front camera. Forgot I had saved it.
