Was talking about this to a writer mate earlier. If you’re used to making affordable telly with solid cultural values - comedy, say - you have nobody to talk to with any cash to pay for it, now that all television has to be entirely international and more expensive than God.

So I suggested several films they'd never seen to my sons (including True Lies and Gremlins), and to my surprise, they chose Hidden Figures (2016). Which is perfect timing for International Women's Day! 👌 Everyone loved it. This was an opportunity to explain segregation, racism, and orbits. 😁
