It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

What’s happening with the US government reminds me of this story (great book btw): Libertarians took over a town in NH in 2004 and gutted its services, cut taxes, etc. Less than 8 yrs later things had gotten so bad that black bears were breaking into homes and killing people for the first time ever.

Starting soon: I'm going to put 200 dollars per paycheck into my investment account (it's earning 5% interest if I don't buy anything). If I want to have a drink, it has to be transferred out of my investment account, so I'll have to actively watch all the money I could be making slip away.
