I'm not sure who needs to hear this, but after the American electorate failed her miserably by not turning up at the polls in November, Kamala Harris owes us exactly NOTHING. I'm glad to see her back out there and to hear her voice again, and the friendly fire bullshit needs to stop. Grow up.

This is a bit random, but here's a thread 🧵on some tips for washing clothes if they always seem to get smelly a few days later even though they've not been worn. It's stuff I wish I'd known when I was younger, and every time I put a wash on I think I should share it.

Taking a break from political posts for a bit for this hot take: Holiday cards are disingenuous and I resent them. They're wasteful, expensive, and folks care more about the card than the message they're trying to convey.

With all due respect, school admins, no, I will not allow my AuDHD and ADHD children to "test out" of their services. They appear to do well IN SPITE OF their disabilities, not because they no longer need support in the classroom. Both are burned the fuck out, whether you see it in class or not.

The best gift you can do for a mom on Mother's Day is to ease her mental load. Don't ask her what she needs "help" with. If you don't know, you have a couple weeks to observe. Don't make her plan her own day. Don't make her spend all Saturday prepping to host on Sunday. Do her chores. Let her rest.
