Superman Day is here, and what better way to celebrate than with a look behind the scenes of the upcoming movie, Superman?

Ah, I see Star Wars is at it again with the whole "announcing movies" thing www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...

Happy Superman Day! Call your Superman and tell him you love him!

Love to explain the basics of how my job works over and over and over again to people who should already understand this, constantly, every day, over the course of my entire life, over and over again, and over and over again, I love it so much, so very, very much, it's so cool and great.

Joel after Abby is done with him:

Pretty neat they're releasing a Rise of the Silver Surfer remake www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAsm...

No. We are not living beyond our means. We have simply been denied the means to live.

Why pay $50,000 for a unique pencil drawing, one of the most iconic pieces of comic book art in history, crafted by an absolute master of the form, when instead you can use AI to generate an absolutely awful, generic picture of a sexy warrior woman for free? www.comicsbeat.com/sale-of-cruc...

Here's today's episode of Gail Simone News. I mean, Comic Book Club News.

I've actually heard from folks who have seen Thunderbolts that it's really good, but the trailer pulling the same "hey you guys remember The Avengers???" trick they pulled with the final Marvels trailer doesn't seem like they have a ton of confidence www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sAO...

Thank you, DC, for continuing to cater to me, personally

This issue is a lot of fun, but the thing that blew my mind is Jorge Jiménez drew all three stories *in different styles and with different panel structures*

"Let them eat space"

"Have y’all been to space?" PEOPLE CAN'T AFFORD EGGS, GAYLE.

Here’s a slew of new comic book reviews!

Am I very much "pro-fun" in theaters, but the thing that's missing in this Chicken Jockey discourse is that teens are going into the theater not to watch/enjoy a movie, but to film each other throwing popcorn and have chicken fights and then post the videos on TikTok. The movie is incidental.

Hot Life Tip! In the amount of time it takes you to say "I don't know who that is" about a celebrity or person in an article headline, you could A) read the article, and/or B) do a quick search to find out who that person is. And then you'll have Extra Knowledge™️!

Here's today's comic book news! Listen in, folks! The Mad Cave digital news in particular is fascinating.

Archie Comics to cross over with Minor Threats. IDW teaming up with WEBTOON. Mad Cave is launching a digital storefront.

Some stats from 100 days in on congestion pricing: - Complaints about car-honking are down 70% - The Holland Tunnel has 65% fewer delays at rush hour; time to get thru it is down 48% - 6 million fewer cars - Half as many traffic-related injuries - 1.5 million more visitors to BIDs year over year

Folks if you hadn't already ditched Sticker Mule because of the owner's fascism, then this might be another reason [gift link] - www.timesunion.com/business/art...

Yeah, I'm: 1. Mamdani 2. Lander 3. Ramos 4. Myrie 5. Adams ...But whatever your order, this is correct on who to skip and not rank at all.

Every time I'm forced to open up a new software update, I become fully convinced that everyone who works in tech has: A) never used their own products B) never talked to anyone who has used their products C) never met another human being

It's funny that Mike Flanagan is thought of as Spooky Horror Guy (which, mind you, he does extremely well) because all of his shows and movies are love stories and/or about what it means to be alive. Anyway, here's this, my most anticipated movie of the year: www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOyX...

Taking care of a friend’s car for the week and with all the constant moving for street sweeping and worrying about whether the car is going to be broken into and getting gas and everything else it’s like having a pet but without any of the fun snuggles.

Oh, is The Rehearsal embargo up? Season 2 is a complete mind-blower, the sort of thing that I spent most of the six episodes whispering "jesus christ" under my breath while watching. As ambitious as Season 1 was, Season 2 is the most jaw-dropping, unbelievable thing Nathan Fielder has ever done.

'Hey, Mary!' comes out tomorrow from Oni Press, and it's absolutely lovely, do not miss it.

As of last year, in a study done asking programming questions on ChaptGPT, it was wrong 52% of the time. But yes, please use AI for therapy and to write your emails, that seems like a great idea. It's probably way more correct about those subjects vs computer stuff. futurism.com/the-byte/stu...

Hey, did you know there's an alternative to ChatGPT that makes sense economically and doesn't destroy the environment? It's called English majors and they will happily fix all of your documents for the low price of health insurance and a living wage.

A daily staple in my week and a great way to keep on top of comic book news. Highly recommend
